GMLTIME Shipping Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This policy sets out how your order is prepared, delivered and received. It does not limit legal warranties or any other mandatory consumer rights.
1. Order preparation
Orders placed on www.gmltime.com are usually prepared within an estimated 2 to 5 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. This preparation period is separate from transit time. The terms and timeframes confirmed for your order take precedence.
High demand, personalization or made-to-order production may require additional time, which will be communicated to you. If a change arises after purchase, we will inform you; it does not automatically extend the agreed timeframe or reduce your rights.
If an availability issue, quality-control issue or security check prevents us from processing the order, we will contact you to agree on a solution consistent with the contract and the law. Any cancellation by GMLTIME results in a refund of the amounts owed, without unjustified deductions.
2. Shipping, tracking and delivery times
We offer delivery within Canada and internationally through established carriers. Charges, delivery methods and applicable timeframes are specified before the order is confirmed. A tracking number will be emailed to you after dispatch.
Transport, customs or weather-related events may cause delays. GMLTIME remains responsible for its delivery obligations, even when transport is entrusted to a third party. Handing the parcel to the carrier does not, by itself, transfer that responsibility to the customer.
If your parcel does not arrive within the agreed timeframe, or tracking shows a delivery you have not received, contact us promptly. We will take the necessary steps with the carrier; you do not have to obtain compensation from the carrier before exercising your rights with GMLTIME.
3. Customs, taxes and import duties
International delivery may involve customs duties, import taxes or clearance fees imposed in the destination country. Where these are not included in the amount confirmed for the order, applicable charges payable by the customer are disclosed before purchase, with a description when they cannot reasonably be calculated in advance.
The relevant authorities or service providers determine these amounts. This provision does not allow undisclosed charges to be imposed contrary to law or limit any legal right to cancellation or a refund.
4. Address and parcel handover
Please provide a complete and accurate address and notify us of any correction as soon as possible. We will let you know whether the change can still be made.
If the address is incorrect or delivery cannot be completed, we will review the situation with you. Any reshipping charges must be explained and agreed before a new shipment; automatic billing does not replace this review.
For an in-person handover or an agreed collection, the same inspection and documentation recommendations apply as soon as you take possession of the item.
5. Immediate inspection and receipt video
Inspect the parcel and its contents immediately upon receipt or collection, before wearing, adjusting or modifying the watch. Check the packaging, the item received and the components listed in your order.
To protect both the customer and GMLTIME and help resolve any questions, we strongly ask you to make a clear, continuous video, without pauses, cuts or editing, from taking possession of the parcel or its in-person handover through to the completion of opening and inspection.
- Start recording when the parcel is received or collected and keep it in view.
- Show every side of the unopened packaging, the seals, the label and any signs of damage or opening.
- Record the entire opening and unpacking without interrupting the video.
- Clearly show the watch, its dial, case, bracelet or strap, together with the box, papers, links and accessories actually listed. Check their presence and condition without disassembly.
Keep the original video file, packaging and items received. If there is a problem, send us the available photos and video, or ask us how to send a large file.
The video is a recommended form of evidence, not a condition of legal warranties. Its absence, an interrupted recording or a late report does not remove your legal rights. We review the other evidence available; the absence of a video alone does not justify an automatic refusal.
6. Damage, missing items or dissatisfaction
If you discover damage, a missing item or a difference from your order, contact us as soon as you discover it at . Include your order number, the date of receipt and the problem identified, then attach the evidence you have. Preserve the condition of the item and packaging as far as possible.
For a request based solely on a change of mind or personal dissatisfaction, our voluntary returns policy requires notice within 24 hours of actual receipt or in-person handover. The conditions are set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy.
This commercial 24-hour period does not apply to legal rights, including claims concerning a defect, non-conformity, latent defect or failure to meet our delivery obligations. The recommendation to inspect immediately does not exclude a defect discovered later. Legal warranties also protect pre-owned goods, taking account of their condition and degree of wear at the time of purchase.
7. Personalized items and cancellations provided for by law
Items that are personalized, engraved, modified at your request or made to order may require specific timeframes. An exclusion from change-of-mind returns applies only if clearly disclosed before purchase. It does not remove any legal warranty or mandatory cancellation right.
When a distance contract is validly cancelled under Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act, GMLTIME refunds all amounts covered by the law within 15 calendar days of the cancellation notice being sent and pays reasonable return costs. A carrier investigation or inspection does not extend this deadline. Detailed terms are set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy.
